Principal’s Message

It is with great honor and humility I serve as principal of T.F. South High School. Since the first graduating class of 1959 graced our hallways till present day, T.F. South has served the communities of Lansing and Lynwood. Our communities have high expectations and a strong commitment to caring about the success of our kids. That sense of community is apparent as you walk through our halls and see the successes our students have achieved academically, in the arts, or on the athletic fields. Rebel alumni can be found throughout the world continuing to serve in the fields of Medicine, Law, Business, Education and Engineering.

With the recent addition of new classrooms, a gymnasium and infrastructure improvements we will continue to be the focal point of our communities. These state of the art additions will allow us to continue to offer everything from Advance Placement courses to work study programs. Our creative, caring staff treats each student as if they were our own and are dedicated to helping all our students succeed. Because of our tremendous parent support, active booster clubs, a wide range of academic courses, and many sports and activities to choose from. T.F. South is able to provide numerous opportunities for students, while still maintaining that small town community school feel. If you have not had the opportunity to view our award winning Drama, Band or athletic programs please feel free to stop by on a fall Friday evening and be part of the excitement of a great high school experience.

Quite simply-as Lansing and Lynwood continue to grow, rest assured that we at T.F. South will continue to guide the next generation of Rebels and instill the values of respect and hard work that our communities demand of us.
